The Edmond de Rothschild Partnerships:
The Next Generation of Israeli Leadership

About the Partnerships

The Edmond de Rothschild Partnerships, established in 2016, strives to reduce disparity in Israeli society and to provide opportunities for youth from socio-geographic peripheries.  The organization was set up to create one roof for youth and young adult leadership programs, with the aim of establishing the next generation of Israeli leaders based on social worldviews and humanistic principles – reducing social gaps, promoting equal opportunities, solidarity and mutual respect.

Our efforts are fully invested in the personal and professional development of program participants. The organization accompanies the participants, directs them and provides them with personal and group tools for further impact. Special emphasis is placed on social diversity, and participants come from all sectors of Israeli society, from the Galilee in the north to the Negev in the south.

Today, the Edmond de Rothschild Partnerships operate six major programs, in which hundreds of young people participate each year:

  • “Starting Line”
  • BR Ambassadors
  • Rothschild Cadet Programs (Local Government, Strategy & Urban Planning, Informal Education)
  • Israeli Hope in Academia
  • Masar
  • Leaders in academia

The Partnerships' Vision

We aspire to a healthy and progressive Israeli society in which everyone has an equal chance to make an impact, succeed and accomplish – regardless of gender, geographic, ethnic, cultural or religious affiliation.

To that end, we choose to focus our efforts on nurturing leading young individuals, primarily in the socio-geographic peripheries. Our activities aim to assist them in developing social perceptions and provide them with tools that enable them to integrate into positions of influence in Israeli society, working to promote equal opportunity, and establish a shared society based on solidarity and mutual respect.

We view the hundreds of graduates as the pioneers who will fulfill our mission, and weave together a vital social network of young leadership. We are proud that many organizations from the public, business, academic and social sectors choose to join us in an effort to change the Israeli reality and establish a sustainable model for coexistence.
